A collection of breastfeeding times and a bed transforms into an island for the tired mother. Offering her space to read, sleep and catch up on self-care, while she is resisting the surrounding world.
Once again, the pandemic has tragically made visible on whose shoulders the functioning of our societies rests. Sadly enough the development of concepts and solutions regarding an equal division of reproductive labour has been stagnating heavily and is resisted by many. Therefore it has become even more essential to highlight the importance of personal space and time for those who carry us all.
